This was a really nice hotel in Bologna, especially for the price. The room was nice and modern, had a good selection of tv channels and was kept very clean. However, the internet was ridiculously over priced at 5 euro for half an hour or 25 euro for a day (even if you have your own computer). This made it frustrating that we had to use the internet cafes in the city centre for a much more reasonable 1.50 euro an hour. The other let down was the breakfast. Great if you love cakes and sweets, not so great if you like your cereal or coffee with fresh milk (instead of the long life milk that seems to plague europe). There was a pretty good looking coffee machine at breakfast, unfortunately even if it was good coffee, the longlife milk rendered it undrinkable. As with the internet, I recomend having breakfast and coffee in the city centre (I personally recomend Gamberini's Pasticeri on Via Ugo Bassi). The service was good, the people were pleasant, the location was workable (once you figure out the bus stops) and the price was great. Unfortunately as I needed internet on my travels and I need a decent breakfast, it somewhat dampened our experience.
